鍳於短道速滑技術及發展委員會自成立以來始終未能找到合適人士擔任委員會主席，導致委員會未能有效協調及發揮作用，未能達到預期成果。經中國香港滑冰聯盟執行委員會會議提議並獲得通過，短道速滑技術及發展委員會自即日起（2025年1月2日）正式解散，相關委員會委員職務亦隨之失效。
本協會衷心感謝各委員在過去兩年的參與，並將審視及重新規劃委員會之架構，再次物色相關領域專業人才，招募合適且願意參與協會發展的人員，期望能盡快組建更完備的委員會以推動短道速滑項目發展。

Due to the inability to find a suitable candidate to assume the position of chair since the establishment of the Short Track Speed Skating Technical and Development Committee, the committee has not been able to coordinate effectively or fulfill its intended functions, resulting in unmet objectives. Following a proposal and approval by the Executive Committee of the Hong Kong China Skating Union, the Short Track Speed Skating Technical and Development Committee is hereby dissolved as of today (January 2, 2025), and all relevant committee positions are rendered null and void.
HKSU sincerely thanks all committee members for their participation over the past two years and will review and replan the committee’s structure. We aim to identify professionals in the relevant fields and recruit suitable individuals who are willing to contribute to the development of the Association, with the hope of quickly establishing a more comprehensive committee to promote the development of short track speed skating.
