International Skating Union published list of entries for the 2014 Olympic Winter Games which will be held in Sochi, Russia, Lui Pan To Barton qualified for 1500m competition of the 2014 OWG with the following results:
ISU World Cup Short Track Speed Skating Italy: 26th place (2:15.111);
ISU World Cup Short Track Speed Skating Russia: 43th place (2:27.969).
Lui Pan To Barton will compete in the 2014 Olympic Winter Games Sochi represente Hong kong, he is the only athlete who will compete in the 2014 OWG and first male athlete represente Hong Kong in OWG in ice sport.
The 20-year-old Lui Pan To Barton is a native of Hong Kong athletes, joined the Hong Kong Youth National Team in 2008 and training in Changchun City and Harbin City with Chinese National Team from 2010 due to there is no Olympic Size Ice Rink in Hong Kong. He went to Seoul in the year 2012 by himself, training with athletes of Korean National Sports University. He will come back to Seoul on November 25, 2013 to prepare the upcoming Olympic Winter Games.
