鍳於短道速滑技術及發展委員會自成立以來始終未能找到合適人士擔任委員會主席，導致委員會未能有效協調及發揮作用，未能達到預期成果。經中國香港滑冰聯盟執行委員會會議提議並獲得通過，短道速滑技術及發展委員會自即日起（2025年1月2日）正式解散，相關委員會委員職務亦隨之失效。   本協會衷心感謝各委員在過去兩年的參與，並將審視及重新規劃委員會之架構，再次物色相關領域專業人才，招募合適且願意參與協會發展的人員，期望能盡快組建更完備的委員會以推動短道速滑項目發展。   特此通告。   Due to the inability to find a suitable candidate to assume the position of chair since the establishment of the Short Track Speed Skating Technical and Development Committee, the committee has not been able to coordinate effectively or fulfill its intended functions, resulting in unmet objectives. 本會確定獲得2024冬季青年奧運短道速滑項目女子組參賽資格，中國香港滑冰聯盟設立遴選委員會選出有關代表人選。 本會本著公平公正的原則制定2024冬季青年奧運會的選拔方案，開放予合資格的運動員報名。在接收申請後，經由遴選委員會審議，最終確認通過陳倩凝獲取本會提名為2024冬季青年奧運會短道速滑項目女子組的代表。有關提名將正式提交至奧委會審核及通過以正式確認其中國香港代表資格。 2024冬季青年奧運會將在2024年1月19日至2月1日於韓國江原道舉行，當中各項短道速滑比賽項目會在2024年1月20-24日期間進行。   HKSU has confirmed the qualification to participate in the short track speed skating (Women) of the 2024 Winter Youth Olympic Games.
